As agreed upon by a working group of Chief Academic Officers from UCF and five (at the time) partner colleges, physics joined the curriculum alignment initiative in August 2008 as the third discipline to work on common course alignment. The sixth partner college engaged in discussions upon joining the DirectConnect to UCF consortium.
Courses
The physics courses being discussed for alignment:
- AST X002 Astronomy
- PHY X053 Physics with Algebra I
- PHY X054 Physics with Algebra II
- PHY 2048 Physics with Calculus I
- PHY 2049 Physics with Calculus II
Note: The “X” in the course number indicates that the lower-division course is taught as either a 1000- or 2000-level. The course title will vary by institution.
